Update: 2025 Temporary Public Policy to Facilitate Work Permits for Prospective Provincial Nominee Program Candidates

What’s New
– The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) will conduct targeted Expression of Interest (EOI) draws to invite Support Letter recipients who obtained a work permit under the 2025 Temporary Public Policy to apply for provincial nomination.

Who is affected
– Individuals who were issued Support Letters under the Temporary Public Policy and successfully acquired a work permit will be invited to apply for provincial nomination.

Key dates
– Invitations to Apply (ITAs) will begin to be sent to Support Letter recipients approved between April 22 and June 30, 2025.

Required actions
– Support Letter recipients must monitor their email for ITAs and should not contact the MPNP if their Support Letter was approved after June 30, 2025. For eligibility and additional inquiries, candidates can refer to the FAQ page or complete the Contact Us Webform.
